ABOUT

Olga Røsnes was born in Voronezh, Russia, in 1951. A versatile personality, graduated from Physical, Musical, and Journalism Departments, she started writing at the age of 25. After many years working as journalist in several major newspapers and magazines, and holding professorship at the Voronezh State University for 12 years, she decided to dedicate herself to the writing only, and settled down in a small Norwegian village Rygge, together with her husband and dog. Feeling at home working in different gengres, she writes poetry, novels, essayes, articles, as well as children stories. She is a winner of numerous international writing competitions, and she is a member of Norwegian, as well as Russian writer's unions. Ms. Røsnes lives currently in Norway.
